Responsibilities:
Trade processing, investment accounting and valuation
Load manager’s trade files
Set up new securities including all characteristics
Request and load prices and corporate action data
Process the current period’s corporate actions
 
Reconciliation
Retrieve position and transaction reports from broker web-sites or network folders
Reconcile cash, positions and market value to PB and counterparty statements
Research variances between the Organisation and broker reports
Contact broker or manager and follow up as required to resolve differences in a timely and professional manner
 
Fund accounting
Calculate and post fee and expense accruals
Calculate and verify NAV
Sign off on checklist
Have fund reviewed by supervisor
 
Client and investor reporting
Produce NAV estimates or finals in agreed format
Generate and send reports to clients and investors
Deal with clients’ questions about reports and results
 
Other
Assist with the implementation of new clients and special projects
Database upgrade and product release testing
Any other task or project assigned by department head
 
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
Required language(s): English
At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in Taman Desa,Old Klang Road.
Preferably Junior Executives specializing in Finance - Corporate Finance/Investment/Merchant Banking or equivalent.
Required skill(s): Investment Tools (Hedging Funds, Unit Trust & Bonds).
Job role in Funds Management/Investmesment or equivalent
Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
Member of MIA (and/or any other qualified Accounting Body)
Dedicated, meticulous, highly reliable and motivated
Good analytical skills
High proficiency in MS Excel
