Responsibilities:
Answering technical support calls from clients.
Identifying the root of the problem through systematic questioning and testing.
Consulting clients on how the problem could be solved.
Conducting research for more complicated problem.
Liasing with InternetNow! R&D department for advice.
Requirements:
A diploma or degree in the field of IT (or related).
Good grasp of LAN, Internet and IP networking in general.
Familiar with various versions of Windows. Basic Windows 2000, 2003 or 2008 server Administration knowledge is an advantage.
Preferred personal traits:
Good problem solvers with genuine interest in helping people.
Excellent verbal communication skill over the phone in English. Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and other Chinese dialects is an added bonus.
Patient and cool-headed as most clients are in distress and unhappy when they call up.
Enjoy a desk-bound work environment staring at computer screens all day :-)
