Responsibilities:
Job description:
• Focus on incident and change management
• Provide troubleshooting and solution to an incident/change
• Coordinating with clients/vendors to ensure hardware are replaced properly
• Coordinating and implementing patch updates/management
• Coordinating and assisting in DR and BCP exercise
• Ensuring continuous operations of customer's data center based on the provided SLA
• Continuous service improvements
• Continuous monitoring of the overall windows infrastructure including systems:
- DB Servers, Application Servers, Web Servers, Infrastructure servers, SMS servers, Xcom servers
- Providing recommendations/solutions in improving the overall process flow
- Capacity management
- Coordinate and implement any projects with relation to Windows infrastructure

Requirements:
• Willing to be posted overseas for about 1 month, twice a year
• Posses good command of English. Understands other foreign languages such as Japanese, Korean is an added advantage
• Willing to work shifts
• With at least 2-3 years of experience in Unix servers administration
• Practical experience in the support environment serving both internal and external customers
• Team Player

Knowledge:
• Excellent in Solaris preferred, Suse Linux
• Experience in Veritas, Legato, EMC storage system, Websphere App Server, Websphere MQ, CA XCOM, SMS Server, EMC SnapView
• Familiar with DELL, SUN servers, and Storage Tek/Sun Storage
• Able to write and understand Unix shell scripting
• Understands Sybase, Oracle
• Experience in DR and BCP operations
• Experience in implementation and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN infrastructure - routers, switches, firewall is an added advantage
