Responsibilities:
Make recommendations to improve and/or enhance existing procedures and practices.
Handle taxation matters.
Responsible for timely monthly ledger closing.
Responsible for organizing each team member to reconcile balance sheet accounts to its subsidiary ledger (offices in Asia Pacific) and checking each analysis result and assist on annual budget.
Analyze and adapt changes in financial guidelines (i.e. IFRS) into processes.
Responsible for accuracy of figures to ensure report quality.
Responsible for organizing, monitoring and leading the audit compliance work to ensure group and local statutory compliance.
To support to prepare and present financial reports for management’s decision making.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
Experience in handling Group Reporting (offices in Asia Pacific) with the initiatives to develop reporting structure, policies and processes.
Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to details and strong integrity.
Excellent communication with the ability to interact with all level.
Good team player with ability to work under pressure.
Professional accountancy qualification or degree in accounting or finance-related disciplines.
MIA membership or its equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a general ledger accountant, include at least 2 years accounting management experiences, which has experience in planning, organizing and monitoring team working.
Able decision maker in designing and making changes to processes.
Able to travel to offices in Asia Pacific.
