Responsibilities:
Overall responsible in monitoring daily production activities.
Ensure operational availability of equipment and facilities as well as efficient maintenance for the plant in line with defined standards and guidelines.
Involved in the development, motivation and training of the workforce.
Negotiate and deal with workforce representative in cooperation with HR.
Ensure and lead the team towards continuous improvement in plant performance & processes to the plant profitability in consideration with cost, productivity, quality and HSE.
Continuous development of objectives/goals across all functions to meet production volume, quality and standard in the factory.
Further develop system, processes and procedures to drive quality, efficiency and productivity.
Monitor, measure and report on operational issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats, timescales and budgets.
Ensure compliance to the defined HSE rules, logistics and quality capability in order to exceed customer expectation.
Plan, implement and control business plan, KPIs, ISO, targets & corrective actions for the plant in line with company strategy.

Requirements:
Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent.
Minimum 15 years of solid experience in plant environment preferable in managing a quicklime or chemical plant.
Proven track record in managing & implementing projects.
Results driven, business acumen & customer focused.
Strong leadership skills, man-management and with high EQ.
Good understanding of overall production processes, engineering, continuous improvement of processes & plant maintenance.
Ability to be relocated to other plant site when required.
Required Languages: English and Bahasa Malaysia.
