Responsibilities:
To oversee all project management on building projects for both campuses.
To ensure that all initial documents requires for the projects are in placed including scope of services, fees, retention sum, drawings, performance bond, insurance and etc. For major works which requires statutory or government approval, to ensure compliance to regulatory body.
Ensure that Certificate of Fitness for new buildings is obtained.
To keep abreast of new legislation, government policy, best practices and relevant external factors affecting the contracting activities.
Liaise with project consultants e.g. Civil & Structural, Mechanical & Engineering, Contractor to ensure project time lines are met and project completion for handover.
Work closely with Facilities Manager on the deliverance and completion of the projects.
Ensure that all projects are within the allocated budget and constantly reviewing the project costing.
Work closely with Purchasing Department in managing the tender process for projects.
Make appropriate recommendation or proposals to the project committee.
To attend all project meetings.
Act as a liaison and oversee the contract between the School and bus contractor.
To attend all the Transport Committee Meeting.
To discuss with bus contractor on bus route and review the routes before proposing to the Transport Committee.
To review the proposal of bus fee and to handle all parental complaint for School buses. Such complaints to be brought to the Transport Committee and the School management.
To review the bus contract and to ensure compliance of bus contractor to the terms and reference in the bus contract.
To oversee the School’s catering contract and handle matters pertaining to School’s Cafeteria, including reviewing the pricing of food in cafeteria, cleanliness, set-up etc.
To oversee all maintenance services contract or contractual agreement. Such contract to be reviewed for yearly renewal.
Any other assignments or job to be given from time to time.

Requirements:
Minimum of six (6) years of working experience in Project Management, Building Management or relevant years of experience.
Excellent management of contracts and tenders with strong analytical skills.
Ability to work independently, under pressure and effectively under tight deadlines.
Sound knowledge of project planning, implementation, cost and quality control, writing skills and contract law preferred.
Meticulous, resourceful and able to work with multi-level of people to ensure deliverance of projects/assignments within the committed deadlines.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project applications.
Capable of handling contracts administration, project claims, legal and contractual issues.
Willing to be relocated as and when necessary.
