Responsibilities:
Perform materials planning, purchasing and ensure timely delivery of materials to operations.
Monitor and ensure an optimization of inventory turn on his respective commodities.
Manage suppliers capacity and capability so as to ensure a consistent supply of quality products.
Liaise and coordinate on MDR of rejected components for vendors corrective action and prompt returned of rejects.
Buy competitively and negotiate with suppliers to meet the aggressive cost objectives.
Coordinate with Product Engineering Group and suppliers on drawing matters, specifications and any Engineering Change.
Carry out quality assurance with QC and Engineering personnel on on-site audit, spec conformance, vendor evaluation activities.
Coordinate on samples approval/FA submission.
Maintain the Purchase Order records in ORACLE accurately.
Assist in sourcing and follow-up of materials requirement by other affiliates.
Requirements:
Minimum Degree / Diploma with 3-5 years working experience in manufacturing environment.
Experience in purchasing and procurement preferably on mechanical parts.
Preferably with knowledge in Kanban, JIT and Oracle system.
Required to communicate with overseas vendors after office hours.
