Responsibilities:
To handle a portfolio of Tenants to ensure rental payments are made promptly and according to tenancy agreement and policies as set by the Credit Control Department.
Organize the Credit Control department to ensure an effective recovery system is in order.
To ensure all credit control responsibilities and collection efforts are carried out accurately and within set time limit
Monitoring Tenant’s account details for non payments, delayed payments and other irregularities and follow up closely on Tenant’s Account Aging.
To minimize late payments and to communicate with Tenants with all available avenues to recover overdue accounts and able to negotiate with Tenants for repayments to ensure action is taken promptly to minimize bad debts.
Implementing credit control policies and procedures.
Maintain good communicationand in co-ordination with Tenancy and Marketing/Leasing Department.
Produce and analyse weekly/monthly aged debtor and credit reports and required actions. Able to present reports in weekly meetings.
Dealing with queries in a timely and professional manner and to follow up on resolutions with Tenants.
Requirements:
A recognized Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration and above.
Minimum of 3 years in Credit Control at executive or supervisory level in a similar industry.
Working experience in Property Management System software(s) is an asset.
Strong leadership, interpersonal & presentation skill.
Analytical with an eye for details.
Male or Female, age above 28.
Able to commence work immediately will be advantageous
