Responsibilities:
Planning and organizing the procurements of all materials, equipment and services necessary for the effective running of the local operations
Ensure optimum price, specifications, delivery and quality of materials to support the production of finished goods
Manage vendor relationship, vendor consignment goods and provide periodic vendor assessment
Work closely with operations department in inventory management
Collaborate with regional procurement team to ensure alignment and integration of strategies and priorities.
Holder of government licenses and permit including hazardous substance license for use, sales and transportation of hazardous chemicals and other licenses and permit as necessary
Responsible for any inbound shipment and return of goods to vendor
Owner of Approved Vendor list, Major Export Scheme (MES) authorized agents’ list with IRA
Support in ISO compliance in related field
Ensure all suppliers and toll manufacturers in full compliance to safety rules and regulations in transportation of all chemicals

Requirements:
A bachelor degree in chemistry or related field
A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience of related experience with strong track record of leadership and delivering results.
Experience in working for MNC is strongly preferred.
Written and spoken English. Able to write and speak Mandarin is an added advantage.
