Responsibilities:
Under the direct supervision of the Chief Migration Health Physician in coordination with the Chief Nurse, and the Panel Physicians, and with the technical guidance/supervision of the Senior IT Assistant in Bangkok, the incumbent will be responsible for the information technology support of the Medical Processing Unit. Specific duties and responsibilities include:
Install and maintain MiMOSA software in coordination with Manila and mission’s IT, including user management, maintaining look up tables, back-up of the database and other tasks
Study MiMOSA documentation, user guide, release notes and other materials, prepare training materials and educate medical MiMOSA users in the mission
Provide support to medical MiMOSA users in the mission, collect MiMOSA end-users requirements and forward to MiMOSA technical team
Perform routine information technology tasks on the server side (check log files, backup database, create/delete users)
Keep updated the documentation with regard to MiMOSA server side settings
Receive and import data from RSC (xMIF), Australia, Canada, and other resettlement countries
Create MIMOSA user credentials
Freely operate with Medical front end super user including IT support
Maintain, provide support and training in relation to the digital X-rays IT systems
Design and generate periodic and ad-hoc reports from MiMOSA front-end and back-end, perform reconciliation of data with OPS, RPC and other partners/systems
Perform helpdesk 1st level support to end users
Daily monitoring of network, disk space, and backup
Performing and controlling daily backup
In accordance with instructions received, performing upgrades and patch installation
Provide preventive planning
Performing such other duties as may be assigned
Requirements:
Malaysian national
University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering
At least 5 years work experience with database management and reporting
Excellent software development skills; strong skills in SQL development, database integration with web-based applications
Experience with digital radiology and teleradiology an advantage
Experience and understanding of the public health industry a plus
Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge of network infrastructure, Windows Server, TCP/IP and DBASE Engine is preferred
Demonstrated skills in systems analysis and design techniques, testing and documentation required
Personal commitment, efficiency, flexibility, self-motivation, creative thinking and strong organizational skills
Ability to work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues from varied cultures and professional backgroundsProficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia written and spoken language
