Responsibilities:
To liaise with and source for suppliers from China on technical specification of raw material products.
To constantly source for and negotiate price from new supplier without compromising quality.
To ensure that all raw materials are purchased at the most favourable cost and quality from approved suppliers listing.
To liaise with Production Planning to ensure adequate stock quantity constantly to ensure smooth production.
To ensure that all the eligible tax exemption for the raw materials are obtain properly and the CJ 5 is annually renewed.
To prepare departmental monthly report for review.
To conduct periodical suppliers’ visit and building strong rapport with them.

Requirements:
Minimum is Degree / Diploma in Technical Engineering, Procurement / Purchasing or Materials Management from accredited institutions of higher learning.
5 years purchasing experience.
Strong negotiation skills with positive results.
Independent with minimum supervision and able to withstand work pressure.
Good command of English Language, Bahasa Malaysia & Chinese.
