Responsibilities:
Our client is a Multinational Food Manufacturing Company seeking an experienced Accountant to join their new team in Malaysia.
 
Responsibilities:
Perform and Oversee all finance functions including bookkeeping
Coordinating with corporate and overseas affiliates
Monitor and review monthly reporting
Prepare and review consolidated financial statements on timely basis
Design, monitor and review reporting tools to analyze sales, GP, profit, expenses cash flow, etc.
Budget, forecast and cash management
Manage external audit and tax filings
Implement internal control and company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with corporate and local rules and regulations, and perform risk analysis.

Requirements:
A relevant degree holder and a Qualified Accountant with CPA/ACCA or its equivalent
A minimum of 7 years’ working experience in the Accounting field
Experience in the Manufacturing setting will be advantageous
Skills of business planning, consolidation, financial reporting analysis and systems design and implementation
Experience in dealing with tax authorities, external auditors
Past experience including working for Chinese multi-national company
Excellent communication (both English and Local language), organizational and people management skills
