Responsibilities:
To work in a Technical Department conceptualizing design ideas from customers, products magazines, trade journals and other sources.
To work effectively with other team players from marketing, purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and other related departments in building prototypes for customer approval.
Work collaboratively with other team players to make samples for customers’ approval/market testing to meet the scheduled deadlines and also by keeping in mind production efficiency and economy.
Must be strong in generating new, fresh, exciting ideas for product and pattern development.
Responsible for soft and hard line design - colour concept and line colour;
Responsible for graphic/prints design - pattern & fitting;
Responsible for packaging design, product measurement and sizing;
Fully responsible for plotter machine's maintenance and printing works;
 
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Textile/Fashion Design or equivalent;
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position;
User of Adobe, Creative Suite – CS3 and above (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat) is a MUST;
