Responsibilities:
Managing plant accounting and management reporting of the business
Assist managers to maintain high level of internal control awareness among staff and ensure sustainable internal controls framework exists.
Monitor the changing environment in which we operate and ensure no control breakdown especially in Inventory & Fixed Assets Management.
To lead regular audit on the plant operation.
Ensure all reporting highlighted above is in compliance with US GAAP for book and Malaysia MASB / FRS for tax & statutory accounts.
Ensure open communication channel and networking within and across the departments, functional areas and other relevant targets.
Managing and building a high performance team.

Requirements:
Degree in Accounting or Advanced Diploma/ Professional Qualification in ACCA/CIMA.
Demonstrate financial & management accounting experience in a manufacturing and trading environment.
At least 5 years relevant working experience.
Experienced & knowledgeable in Import & Export regulations and taxes.
Project Management experience preferable.
Have an understanding of international sales and distribution processes (transfer pricing, import/export regulations, tax and legal compliance).
Ability to stretch and work in a multi-tasked environment.
Fluency in English (both spoken and written).
Detail oriented. Willing to do a deep dive to drive compliance and accuracy of reporting.
Strong Problem solving and good leadership skills.
Good analysis and communication skills.
