Responsibilities:
1. Management Reporting

Oversee the financial activities of multiple business units.
Responsible for preparing the full set of management accounts and reports.
Generate consolidated management accounts and reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for multiple business unit.
Ability to evaluate and analyze inventory variances.
Develop financial projections, budget and cash flow statements on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Ensure timely submission and closing of monthly management reports.
Responsible for tax and audit matters.
Oversee all related accounting functions.

2. Operations Planning
Formulate, implement and review accounting policies and procedures to ensure validity and accuracy of financial information required by the Management for decision-making purpose.
Review and update the process documentation specific to execution and reconciliation of data associated with financial business processes.
Ensure legal and regulatory compliance with all reporting, accounting and audit requirements imposed by regulatory bodies.
Responsible to liaise with bankers, external auditors, company secretary, tax consultants and government authority in relating to accounting issues and banking facilities.
Coordinate and provide advice to the outlets and other department with regard to accounting, financial and administrative matters.

3. Develop Planning
Develop and enable the new processes, existing process improvements and remediation of issues across multiple functional areas from the financial standpoint.
Responsible to supervise, guide and coaching the account and finance personnel in their respective job functions and ensure the department operations is running smoothly.
Note: Any other ad-hoc assignment as assigned by the management.
 
Requirements:

1. Education & Experience Requirement
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
For manager level, at least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Preferable candidate with experience in retail, food & beverages or auditing experience
 
2. Skills
Applicants must be computer literate.
Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting/forecasting and cost control principles with proven expertise in business and financial analysis
Strong problem solving and analytical skills while being detail orientated
Knowledge in operating Quickbooks accounting system is an added advantage.

3. Communication and Traits
Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese & Bahasa Malaysia
Able to work independently in a fast-paced changing environment.
Positive working attitude, proactive, good interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
Hands on self-starter with a strong work ethic and desire to promote and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

4. Others
Applicants must be willing to work in Brickfields, KL.
Possess own transport and willing to travel.
This is a Full-Time position.
