Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Finance & Admin. Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible :
for purchasing and negotiating for the best price and credit terms while ensuring the specification and quality of materials are aligned with company requirements.
to coordinate with sales and marketing team, production and suppliers to plan for deliveries of raw material in order to meet production schedule.
to study the finished product with a focus on enhancing products' knowledge and sourcing for alternative raw materials to enhance the company's position.
to inititate and maintain effective/professional relationship with existing and potential vendors/suppliers.
to follow-up on the daily stock level movement and monitor the in-coming materials and return activities.
to prepare weekly/monthly procurement analysis report.

Requirements:
Candidates must possess at least Diploma preferably in Chemistry/Supply Chain or other related disciplines.
Minimum 5 years relevant working experience.  Candidates with experience in planning/ purchasing/inventory or equivalent in a manufacturing environment will have an added advantage.
Applicant should have a versatile negotiation trait, independent and good interpersonal skills.
IT literate and highly proficient in MS Office application.  
High standard of integrity and ethical practices.
Strong command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both spoken and written.  
Good leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Able to multi-task and handle various assignments and projects with different levels of complexity and able to adapt in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
