Responsibilities:
Identify, track, and implement opportunities for Materials Cost Reduction.
Communicate and drive implementation of global strategies, market trend, and negotiated prices / terms so as to provide internal customers with optimal supply assurance, pricing, flexibility, quality and delivery performance.
To be responsible for materials execution as well as ensure supply continuity, push & keep escalation with supplier in expediting delivery to meet schedule requirement.
Account for negotiating with supplier to cancel & push out Outstanding PO to optimize inventory control.
Lead a team of purchasing executive/officer & ensuring continuity of materials supply base on ERP requirements.
Monitoring & coordinating internally as well as externally to ensure production are able to run smoothly & meet customer due date.
Deploy best practices within the section.
Seeking out and qualify reliable suppliers of equipment, materials, supplies and services.
Negotiating with suppliers on the commercial terms.
Preparing PO's or purchase contracts with all agreed terms and complete technical packages and specifications.
Expediting the PO execution and shipment/delivery.
Maintaining the purchasing database and documentation as predetermined practices.
Preparing purchasing statistics and reports as required.
Understanding and complying with Malaysia laws and regulations.
Maintaining the import/export records and documentation as predetermined practices.

Requirements:
Preferably Managers specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
At least 5 yrs of working experience in purchasing or in the related field.
Experience in ERP system will be an added advantage
Good communication, cooperation, teamwork and presentation skill.
Good skill at organizing and analyzing, and coordinating
