Responsibilities:
Process and maintain accounting records of plant costing, general and management reporting including month-end cost accounting and analysis.
Perform standard analysis, variance analysis, and rectification work as necessary by identifying causes of production variances.
Maintain and ensure effective management control through regular update on standard costs for the products and coordinate yearly standard revaluation procedures.
Prepare yearly and monthly rolling forecasts.
Ensure compliance to local statutory requirements and filings.
Manage all accounts receivable and payable.
Ensure timely submission of weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements and reports.
Make recommendations to improve processes to increase productivity and efficiency.
Work in tandem with the Management team to implement and ensure compliance on best corporate governance practices which are aligned to Corporate guidelines and policies.

Requirements:
Professional Accounting qualification or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance.
Minimum 3-5 years of working experience, preferably in costing and in manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of US GAAP and Singapore/Malaysia Accounting Standards.
Fluent English - oral and written
Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, preferably Hyperion and Oracle.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Hands-on, detail-oriented and meticulous.
Proactive & Assertive.
Communication skills - Possesses excellent oral and written communications.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
Mobile and able to travel frequently between Malaysia & Singapore.
