Responsibilities:
This candidate will work closely with senior management to develop strategic plans related to issues dealing with accounting, finances, profits, expenditures, payrolls and sales.
 
Handle full set of accounts - Account Receivable, Account Payable, General Ledger, Bank Reconciliation and Payroll/Human Resource.
Preparation of Monthly Financial Statements and Monthly Cost Statements
Monthly computation of payroll inclusive of EPF & SOCSO submissions and preparation of yearly income tax returns.
Prepare audit schedules, liaise with auditors, tax agents and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance.

Requirements:
This candidate needs to be energetic and possess a positive attitude. They should be organized and possess strong communication skills, as they frequently deal with everyone from upper management to lower-level employees. This candidate also needs to be professional, work well alone or with a team, and be a capable problem solver. Along with significant accounting experience, this candidate requires experience in benefits, human resources, equity and compensation accounting.

Preferably with degree or diploma qualifications in accountancy, ACCA, LCCI or equivalent professional qualification
Minimum 3-5 years relevant working experience with a proven track record
Possess sound knowledge of existing accounting standards
Good leadership & ability to work in a team and interact effectively with people of all level
