Responsibilities:
Handling the full spectrum of financial and management accounting function for all entities in the country
Implement the required internal controls in the country and corporate governance
Meeting the required management & statutory deadlines in submission of monthly financial reports, completion of audit, filing of annual returns, tax filing, etc. Liaising with the local corporate secretarial agent
Analyse and review monthly performance for actuals vs. prior year/prior month/forecast/budget, highlighting and explaining any variances in the accounts. Analyze by reporting entity and customer project
Ensure services provided to customer are invoiced on a timely, complete and accurate manner. Ensure that collections of receivables are prompt and DSO is within target. To adhere to the Group Credit Policy
Liaising with the auditors to ensure timely completion of the annual audit, resolving audit issues
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Accountancy/Finance or Professional Accounting Qualification with Chartered Accountant or CPA
Minimum 8 years of all-rounded experience in audit, accounting and managing country finance function
Good understanding of accounting/tax/audit/currency controls/culture/governance
Mature and pleasant personality with excellent communication
Flexible, enthusiastic, self motivated and a team player
Proficient in speaking and written in English
Experience in the supply chain/logistics industry would be an advantage
Preferably with hands on experience in financial planning/analysis
Experience on Oracle system
