Responsibilities:
To purchase the right parts/quantities with the required quality on time to meet the Master Production Schedule.
To source mechanical parts for company products.
To check availability and confirming of orders with the vendors in respect to price, quality and delivery dates.
To monitor & follow up on outstanding purchase orders and expedite critical materials deliveries.
Follow up on MDR of rejected parts for suppliers corrective action and prompt returned of rejects.
Liaise and work closely with customers and vendors relationship and monitoring on time delivery, quality, pricing etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma with 2-5 years working experience in manufacturing environment.
Candidate with technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering will have added advantage.
Experience in purchasing and procurement preferably on mechanical parts.
Preferably with knowledge in Oracle system.
Good communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, able to work with tight timeline.
