Responsibilities:
Manage all day to day HR activities including supporting/advising managers and employees, compensation reviews (annual and ad hoc), appraisal process, training & development activities, career planning, induction, exits, payroll preparation and some benefits administration.
Responsible for managing all recruitment activities (direct and through 3rd party suppliers) so that requirements are met in a timely and cost effective manner.
Manage the Administration department including the Office Manager (reception, facilities, H&S and maintaining/improving office premises).
Ensures that remuneration packages are competitive and equitable and that all HR programmes support organisational objectives.
Liaison with external suppliers including contract/pricing negotiations and ensuring that the companies’ interests are protected.
Responsible for keeping up to date with employment legislation and providing accurate advice in all employee relations situations (including managing formal processes).

Requirements:
Ideally degree level education together with a recognised HR qualification (CIPD membership preferred)
At least 10+ years experience working in a commercial organisation, including 7+ years of professional HR experience (must include working in an IT/professional services environment).
2+ years experience in a managerial or team leadership role.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft office, Xcel and a relevant HR system (including the provision on management information).
Experience of working in a SME, ideally a start up or privately owned company with owner/manager.
Experience of developing and implementing innovative HR practises in a fast paced, evolving environment.
