Responsibilities:
Reporting to Financial Controller of Finance to oversee all financial operations and corporate consolidation.
Overseeing the accounting and finance departments in Malaysia to ensure the timeliness of financial statements.
Review and improve accounting processes and controls when needed.
Supported by finance team from overseas to consolidate the group results, prepare financial statements, board packs and ad-hoc reports for the presentation to Audit Committee and Board of Directors for approval on a quarterly and annual basis.
Knowledge of FRS and IFRS is required.
Liaising with external auditor on yearly audit involving Group Reporting and Consolidation.
Liaising with tax agent on Malaysian taxation matters.
Regulatory filings pertaining to all public listing and corporate matters.
In charge of the local statutory report and provide business and functional support on financial analysis.
Responsible for developing and implementing the internal audit function within the Group. This include working closely with an independent internal auditor on the core areas such as statutory reporting, corporate governance, risk management profile, statement of internal control, documenting and maintaining audit work papers, and drafting narrative descriptions of major processes and controls currently in place or proposed in the Group.
Ad-hoc assignment & projects.

Requirements:
Minimum Accounting Degree Holder or professional qualification, ACCA, CIMA.
At least 1 year experience in related field, preferably in manufacturing industry.
Experience in FRS and IFRS
Computer literacy with MS office, plus preferably familiar with MYOB
Posses good command of spoken and written English
Able to speak and read Mandarin is a plus.
Able to work independently with positive attitude, resourceful and good interpersonal and communication skills.
Committed, dynamic and enthusiastic, and able to work under pressure.
