Responsibilities:
To assist the in project planning and installations
To assist customers for IP address management
To provide 1st and 2nd level of support to users, which include attending calls/emails, creating trouble tickets, querying knowledge base, troubleshooting and implementation of fixes when required
To involve in general operations and maintanance of customer's network
Implement addressing schemes for voice, video and data networks.
Responsible for OSI model layers 2 and 3.
Knowledgeable in Multiple dynamic routing protocol especially in EIGRP.
knowledgeable in troubleshooting IPSec VPN & GRE tunnelling.
knowledgeable in troubleshooting QoS issue.
knowledgeable in troubleshooting multiple type of WAN environment such as satellite, lease line, MPLS CE environment.
Normal LAN troubleshooting
Familiar in configuring switches with trunking, native VLAN, switchport voice vlan.
knowledgeable in troubleshooting cisco IP telephony is a plus.
Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or Engineering - Computer/ Telecommunication/ Electrical/ Electronic) or equivalent.
Must have functional exposure to Network & Service Management, Network/Performance monitoring & detection.
Must have had exposure to Project Management.
Extensive knowledge/ experience in VOIP and networking protocols (i.e. BGP) will be added advantage.
Familiar with Windows/ Linux based servers.
Be able to work under pressure.
Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Able to work on shift and provide necessary on-call support.
Required certification(s): CCNA/ CCNP.
