Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Dean to direct and manage the School in accordance with the academic standards and directions from the management.
Responsible to drive and monitor the academic program and its delivery is in accordance with the academic standards outlined by MQA and head office.
Provides leadership in planning and coordinating departmental programs which include evaluation, development and revision of courses and curriculum.
Evaluates lecturers/tutors/trainers’ schedule, performance, makes retention, promotion and contracts tenure recommendations.
To develop a customer oriented environment in the School by establishing simple, easy and clear communication channel with students, parents and lecturers.
To gather feedback from students and to conduct classroom observation to ensure high quality arrangements for teaching, learning and student support are delivered.
To work with Academic Regulatory bodies such as MQA to ensure all programs have the necessary approval and achieved the necessary required accreditation.
Responsible to ensure all academic deadlines are delivered in a timely manner specifically on the students’ records and exams marks.
To maintain own continuing professional development.

Requirements:
Candidate must have at least a Master Degree in Interior Design or related professional qualification.
Minimum 5 years of working experiences in teaching at tertiary level and in a management level position.
Ability to lead and motivate team to achieve the company’s target and produce quality work within tight timeframes.
Excellent management and leadership skills.
Must possess strong academic leadership skills; broad understanding of academic fields; vision and creativity with respect to program design, standards and development.
Strong commitment to academic integrity; commitment to the community School philosophy and the centrality of learning within the community School context.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in liaison with various academic institutions and governments’ agencies.
Ability to simultaneously manage several projects.
Minimum 3 years experiences in the relevant industry are most preferable.
